Lock, Stock and Barrell Website Dangerous

‘We condemn the Lock, Stock and Barrel gun magazine web site for its attempt to generate hate against our politicians’ said GCA spokesperson Randy Marshall. ‘It is a continuation of earlier efforts to intimidate those who have helped create stricter gun controls.

‘Gun Control Australia urges all governments to take appropriate legal action to stop the gun lobby from intimidating the families of parliamentarians – accountability is one thing, gun lobbyists watching your wife as she shops and children as they go to school, is another’ said Mr Marshall.

In the early 1990′s the Queensland based Australian Right to Bear Arms Association (ARBA) called on its supporters to take full details about any police officer who came to confiscate their illegal guns. The Association promised that the officer’s family would be harassed as a form of punishment and that the officer would be tried for treason in the event of war. Gunsmith and hunting tour organiser Mr Bob Doring of Maleny, was an office bearer of ARBA and now, like Ron Owen, is on the Firearms Owners of Australia (Qld) committee.

‘The real danger derives from the connections between Gympie gunshop owner Ron Owen’s Lock, Stock and Barrel magazine and the paramilitary groups in Australia and America’ said GCA president John Crook. Mr Owen has promoted the paramilitary activities of the AUSI Scouts and other anti-government organisations.

These groups believe that the Port Arthur gun massacre was a fake, a sinister plot arranged by the federal government as a means of introducing stricter gun laws in order to disarm and subjugate the population.

Given the connections between the Australian and American gun lobbies, we might expect the Australian paramilitary groups to follow similar groups in the US. Many US militia groups are working to overthrow the US federal government which they believe has ceased to honour God’s directions and is selling out to the United Nations and the New World Order.
