To assist secondary students understand the nature of the gun problem, the gun lobby and the development of gun laws, Gun Control Australia is offering one or two hour courses. These are specificaly designed for years 11 and 12 Legal Studies students. The Lance Reichstein Foundation has generously assisted us to offer these educational courses.

We draw attention to the critical issues in the gun control debate and help students research the breadth of each issue. The arguments surrounding gun control are one of the most strongly contested areas of debate in contemporary Australia. Each course will seek to examine the strengths and weaknesses in the arguments used by both sides in this debate.
