1.To establish the amount and nature of the gun problem in Australia and to inform the public and the parliaments of these facts and of the need to take actions to reduce the extent of the gun problem.
2.To examine the structure, aims and tactics of the gun lobby and to expose these so that the gun lobby’s contribution to Australia’s gun problem is made public.
3.To work towards the establishment of a cohesive set of stringent gun laws which will apply uniformly throughout the land.
4.To work towards an increasingly diverse gun control movement based on fully independent organisations.
